Support that fits your situation
Most technology problems are not complicated once someone sits down with them. Kap Services handles setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for home users and small businesses — and explains what went wrong in language that is actually useful.
We are comfortable with a single laptop that will not connect and with a small office that needs its computers, printers, and accounts working together.

Guided support
What can we help you fix?
Pick whichever is closest. You do not need to know the technical cause — working that out is our job.
Select a problem to see what happens next
Nothing here is a diagnosis — it tells you what we would need from you to start, so you know what you are getting into before you contact anyone.
If none of them fit, choose Something else and describe it in your own words.
How it works
What happens after you get in touch
Step 1: Tell us what is happening
Describe the problem in your own words and tell us what equipment is involved. Guessing at the technical cause is our job, not yours.
Step 2: We work out the approach
We confirm whether it can be handled remotely or needs a visit, and what it is likely to involve.
Step 3: We fix it and explain it
Backups first where data is at stake, then the work — and we tell you what was wrong and what we changed.
Step 4: You stay supported
For small businesses we can keep supporting you regularly rather than only when something breaks.

Which kind of support do you need?

Why choose Kap Services
What you can expect
Commitments about how we work, not claims about results.
Practical support
We explain problems clearly, without unnecessary technical jargon, and tell you what we changed so the same thing is less likely to catch you out twice.
Home and small business focus
Support built for everyday users and small organizations, not for enterprise IT departments with their own procedures.
One point of contact
Devices, networking, accounts, security, and setup handled by the same people, rather than passed between suppliers.
Clear recommendations
We explain what is actually needed before recommending an upgrade. If the equipment you have is fine, we will say so.
Cybersecurity support includes practical configuration and best-practice guidance. Kap Services does not provide penetration testing, formal security audits, or regulatory compliance certification unless explicitly stated.
Questions
Frequently asked
Do you provide home IT support?
Yes. Home users are a large part of what we do — computers and laptops, Wi-Fi, printers, phones and tablets, new device setup, and moving files across from an old machine. There is no minimum job size.
Do you support small businesses?
Yes. We support small teams that do not have anyone in-house: workstation setup, shared printers, email and file sharing, new-hire setup, and keeping the equipment you rely on running. Tell us the size of your team and what you depend on day to day.
Can you help with Wi-Fi problems?
Yes — dead zones, dropped connections, slow speeds, router and mesh setup, and networks that work everywhere except the one room that matters. Coverage problems usually need someone on site to measure properly rather than guess.
Do you install new computers and devices?
Yes. We set up new machines and move your files, applications, and accounts across, starting with confirming your data is backed up. We also set up phones, tablets, and the accounts that tie them together.
Can you help with printers?
Yes. Printers that will not connect or print, scanning to email, driver problems, and getting a shared printer working across an office are all routine for us.
Do you provide cybersecurity services?
We provide practical protection: strong sign-in and multi-factor authentication, current updates, working backups, safe configuration, and recognizing the scams that target small businesses. We do not provide penetration testing, formal security audits, or regulatory compliance certification, and no measure can guarantee a system will never be compromised.
Do you offer remote support?
Yes, for many software, account, and setup problems — with your permission and while you are at the machine. Anything involving hardware, cabling, or Wi-Fi coverage needs an on-site visit, and we will tell you which it is before scheduling.
How do I request service?
Use the Get IT Help button anywhere on this page. It opens a short guided form that asks what kind of help you need, whether it is for a home or a business, and how to reach you. You can also contact us with a question first if you are not sure it is something we handle.
Need help with a technology problem?
Tell us what is happening and we will help you determine the right next step. Describe it in your own words — working out the technical cause is our job.
