General information only
The content on this website is general information about the services Kap Services offers. It is not professional advice, and it is not tailored to your situation. Do not act or refrain from acting on the basis of anything on this site without discussing your own circumstances with us or with an appropriately qualified professional.
Legal and immigration matters
Kap Services is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. Legal matters may be referred to appropriately licensed attorneys or qualified professionals.
Nothing on this website, and nothing said to you by Kap Services, creates an attorney-client relationship. Our support in this area is limited to communication and organization: translation and interpretation, help organizing documents that a professional or agency has asked you for, appointment and deadline support, and helping you make contact with licensed professionals.
Specifically, Kap Services does not:
- Give legal advice or opinions about your case
- Recommend a legal strategy or advise which option to choose
- Act as your representative before any court or government agency
- Prepare or file immigration applications on your behalf as an authorized or accredited representative
Any relationship you enter into with an attorney or other licensed professional is between you and them, on terms you agree with them directly. See our Document & Language Support page for a fuller description of how this works.
Home security services
Kap Services installs, configures, supports, and explains security equipment. We are not an alarm monitoring company, and we do not provide emergency dispatch or emergency response.
If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911. This website is not monitored around the clock and should not be used to report emergencies.
No security system, camera, lock, or alarm can prevent every incident. Equipment can fail, lose power, lose network connectivity, or be defeated. We do not warrant that any system will prevent loss, damage, or injury, and recorded footage may not always be available or usable. Permit and licensing requirements for alarm and low-voltage work vary by state and municipality, and we will tell you what applies to your job before starting it.
IT, technology, and cybersecurity
Technology work carries inherent risk to data. We take reasonable care and confirm that a backup exists before making significant changes, but data loss can occur, and you remain responsible for maintaining your own backups.
Our cybersecurity support covers practical protection and good-practice configuration such as strong authentication, current updates, working backups, and awareness of common scams. It is not a formal security audit, a penetration test, or a regulatory compliance assessment. No security measure can guarantee that a system will never be compromised.
Translation and interpretation
We work carefully to convey meaning accurately between languages. Some agencies, courts, and institutions require a specific form of certified or sworn translation. It is your responsibility to tell us what the receiving party requires, and ours to tell you honestly whether we can provide it. Translation is not a substitute for advice from a professional qualified in the subject matter of the document.
Third parties
Where we introduce you to an attorney, licensed professional, manufacturer, or other provider, we do not control their work and are not responsible for it. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and are not endorsements of their content.
Accuracy and availability
We aim to keep this website accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or omissions, or that it will always be available.
